Oak Bioinformatics provides bioinformatics software, tools, documentation, and related services, including but not limited to OakVar, the OakVar MCP Server, and future products.

Services may change over time, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of them at any time.

2. Research and Non-Clinical Use

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, our software and services are provided for research and informational use only.

They are not intended for clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions, or medical advice.

You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use any outputs generated by our software.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensure you have the right to use any data you process with our software
• Maintain the security of your systems and environments

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your use of our services.

4. Intellectual Property

• Misrepresent outputs as clinical, diagnostic, or medical results

6. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• The software will be error-free
• Results will be accurate or complete
• Services will be uninterrupted

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oak Bioinformatics LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero if no fees were paid.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our services at any time if you violate these Terms or use the services in a way that creates legal or security risk.

Upon termination, your right to use the software ends.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
